Photography

What will I learn?

Studying Photography will provide students the opportunity to develop their digital photography and Adobe photoshop knowledge and skills. Students will learn how to operate professional camera and lightning equipment.  Students will learn to research and explore ideas, develop critical and creative thinking skills and understand their own work and the work of established photographers.

Where would this course lead to?

This course leads to Level 2 and 3 Photography, then onto further study for a wide range of careers: (eg. commercial, forensic, industrial, fashion, documentary photographer) and allied fields: Architecture, Publishing, Photojournalism, Laboratory work, Photo finishing and Fine arts.

NOTE: BYOD Laptop computer (minimum system requirements - Microsoft Windows 7 with Service Pack 1, Windows 10 (Version 1709 or later) or macOS version 10.12(Sierra) or later and 8 GB or more of RAM recommended)
