What should I have already achieved?

Achieved or better in one of the L2 Visual Arts external folios AS91320 Design, AS91321 Painting, AS91322 Photography, or with TIC approval.

What will I learn?

Students will build and expand upon the skills already gained at Level 2
Develop and refine technical and creative skills using industry software e.g Photoshop, Illustrator
Branding or Character design
Learn about and incorporate artist models and design styles of their choosing.
Design process - research, recording, concept visualisation, mock-ups, prototypes, models, and refinements

Future pathways

Degree and Diploma courses at major tertiary institutions for a wide range of careers: Graphic Designer, Animator, Typographer, Web Designer, Illustrator, Software Developer, Game Designer, Desktop Publisher, etc.

NOTE: BYOD Laptop computer (minimum system requirements - Microsoft Windows 7 with Service Pack 1, Windows 10 (Version 1709 or later) or macOS version 10.12(Sierra) or later and 8 GB or more of RAM recommended)
