Business Studies

Business Studies offers you the opportunity to gain skills, knowledge and understanding required to run your own business activity.

Each semester you will have the opportunity to start up a brand new business by:

Working with other students to form a company.
Conducting a market survey
Creating a product and taking it to market.
Planning the different aspects of running a business.
Selling your product to customers during an online Market Day.
Keeping whatever profit your business makes.
Using learning in subjects such as Technology, Music, Art, Food or Media to create your product.
Business Investments-Students in business groups will need to determine how much they wish to invest in their business activities. A guide on the level of investment is $100 (Approximately $25 per student in a group of 4). This investment should cover set-up costs of product, product research, product design, stall hire, display of the product e.g. table cloth, banners.
