What should I have already achieved?
Active participation in Design and Visual Communication for a semester in Level 1, or experience in another Technology subject is ideal.
What will I learn?
The goal of this course is to develop creativity and design communication skills through the use of various media. The primary focus will be on Spatial Design, exploring the boundaries and possibilities of architectural considerations; interiors, landscapes, events, performance, and urbanism. Students will challenge conventional design practices and think critically about the impact and definition of spatial design.
This course will leads to level 3 Design and Visual Communication, then onto further study for a wide range of careers; Architecture, Drafter, Landscape designers, and various Engineering pathways.
