What will I learn?
Studying Design enables students to develop knowledge and understanding of design processes, and to learn to solve design problems. Students will explore a range of design briefs influenced by established practice, and develop responses to a design topic. As part of the learning process, students will learn and become confident with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign.
What will I learn?
Studying Painting will enable you to develop painting knowledge and skills within a number of small projects throughout the semester. You will learn key observational drawing skills using media such as pencil, pen, charcoal, watercolour and acrylic paint whilst also developing your colour theory knowledge and painting techniques. As part of the learning process, you will research, analyse, critique and interpret how established artist construct and communicate meaning within their work. You will then work on ways to emulate these processes in your own work.
What will I learn?
Studying Photography will provide students the opportunity to develop their digital photography and Adobe photoshop knowledge and skills. Students will learn how to operate professional camera and lightning equipment. Students will learn to research and explore ideas, develop critical and creative thinking skills and understand their own work and the work of established photographers.
