What will I learn?
This course focuses on creating original drama through improvisation and the devising process.
You will develop skills in applying production technologies, taking on specific roles and responsibilities, and collaborating effectively with others.
The course culminates in a live performance where you will showcase your creative and technical work.
Students will learn to:
Devise and perform original drama.
Execute a production technology role.
Analyse and apply drama conventions, elements, and technologies.
Collaborate and engage with diverse ideas, cultures, and perspectives.
Opportunities include:
Performing in a live presentation.
Participating in workshops with NZ theatre professionals (optional).
Attending professional theatre shows (optional).
What should I have achieved?
No prior experience is required for this course.
