DRAP - Production

What will I learn?

• This course focuses on creating original drama through improvisation and the devising process. 

• You will develop skills in applying production technologies, taking on specific roles and responsibilities, and collaborating effectively with others. 

• The course culminates in a live performance where you will showcase your creative and technical work.
  
  

Students will learn to:

• Devise and perform original drama.

• Execute a production technology role.

• Analyse and apply drama conventions, elements, and technologies.

• Collaborate and engage with diverse ideas, cultures, and perspectives.

Opportunities include:

• Performing in a live presentation.

• Participating in workshops with NZ theatre professionals (optional).

• Attending professional theatre shows (optional).

What should I have achieved?

• No prior experience is required for this course.
