This course equips you with the skills to become a confident and expressive performer through the three core disciplines of singing, dancing, and acting.
You will learn and develop both technical and performance skills while exploring a wide range of musical theatre styles from different historical and cultural contexts. Alongside the practical components, you will gain theoretical knowledge by researching the history and evolution of musical theatre and analysing influential works and practitioners.
Through group work, you will strengthen your ensemble performance skills, including harmony singing, group choreography, and scene work. You will be encouraged to ask questions, challenge yourself, and grow your confidence as a performer and collaborator.
Musical Theatre fosters a range of transferable skills such as confidence, creativity, communication, teamwork, discipline, focus, and time management—skills that extend far beyond the stage.
