What should I have already achieved?

Achieved or better in the internal assessment AS91883 - Programming at Level 1 or AS91880 in Level 1 Digital Technology (DITM) or with TIC approval.

Exemptions from these prerequisites will be made for those with passion and involvement in programming.

What will I learn?

You will be learning how to apply design conventions and advanced processes to develop a digital technologies outcome and how to use advanced techniques to develop a digital media outcome. You will also be learning how to construct an advance computer program using python.

How will this course be assessed?

A maximum of 27 credits are offered in this course. You will be assessed on the Conventions standard, with Advanced Processes for Web Development as the context, followed by integrating a Database in your website. The Python Programming can also be done with the Advanced Processes standard, with the External being a summary of what you have done to develop any of the digital outcomes.

It is recommended that you will submit work totalling at least 18 credits.

Will there be any FAO? (Further Assessment Opportunities)

A further assessment opportunity will not be available as all assessments are projects based and will be completed over a period of time with several checkpoints on the way.

What are the course costs?

$15 for field trip (not planned as yet) and/or online program from Code Avengers.
