"Computer science is the operating system for all innovation" Steve Ballmer

What should I have already achieved?

You have taken Digital Programming or Digital Media for a semester in Level 1 or have gained NCEA Level 1 literacy.

You will have the willingness to give it a go and think analytically and have some computational thinking ideas because everything we do is logical and follows computational thinking steps.

What will I learn?

You will be learning how to apply advanced processes to develop a digital technologies outcome - this being advance computer program using python and how to use advanced techniques to develop a digital media outcome.

How will this course be assessed?

You will be assessed on the Web Development standard along with Python Programming which will be done with the Advanced Processes standard. The External Standard being a summary of what you have done to develop any of the digital outcomes.

It is recommended that you will submit work totalling at least 14 credits.

Will there be any FAO? (Further Assessment Opportunities)

A further assessment opportunity will not be available as all assessments are projects based and will be completed over a period of time with several checkpoints on the way.

Course Costs

This will depend on the different field trips we decide to take during the year. This will include entry and transport costs.
