What should I have already achieved?
Entry Requirement: Automatic - Minimum 12 credits in Level Two Graphics or Technology
OR Provisional - 12 credits Level Two Graphics or Technology
OR TIC approval.
What will I learn?
Industrial Design is a hybrid course combining Applied Design and Product & Spatial Design.

You will learn a range of skills to encourage innovative thinking and to enable to express your creative             ideas. The course will be developed using a series of briefs that will push you to expand your                           understanding of design through experimentation and reflection.
How will this course be assessed?
The course will be constructed around the needs of each learner. There are up to 20 credits available in this course. Work will be assessed through written, visual and oral portfolios.The external standard is developed during the year and will be submitted to NZQA in Term 4.
Will there be any FAO?  (Further Assessment Opportunities)
Due to the nature of the course FAO will not be available. Students will be offered formative assessment           to help them reach the level required for Level 3.

What are the course costs?
$60 to cover materials and consumables
