What should I have already achieved?

It will help if you have some knowledge of anatomy and physiology. However there are no prerequisites for this course, just be willing to learn in these areas.

What will I learn?

In Physical Education students will learn about the important processes groups go through to function as a working unit by trying to get their group through the 'Quality performance' standard that involves training and preparing for the performance. Then students will review the implementation and outcomes of this process. In term three students will learn about the function of the body and how it relates to moving effectively when performing a sports skill .

Students also have the option if they choose to reflect on their level of Social responsibility in relation to Hellison's model through these activities through out the year.

How will this course be assessed?

All standards in Physical Education are internally assessed.

Will there be any FAO?  (Further Assessment Opportunities)
