What will I learn?

Health


It is important that individuals are resilient and know how to manage and deal with change.  In Level 1 Health you will learn about aspects of personal well-being. Skills to develop quality relationships will also be studied.


Physical Education


You will have the opportunity to learn about the structure and function of the human body in relation to improving performance in physical activities and reflect on a variety of factors that may influence your participation in sport and physical activity.


Duke of Edinburgh Hillary Award


In Level 1 PE and Health you will prepare for the Duke of Edinburgh Hillary Award Bronze expedition.

All standards are internally assessed

Further Assessment Opportunities are available in 1.3 (AS 90964). Demonstrate quality movement in the performance of a physical activity

What are the course costs? $0. Their will be a cost of between $80-$100 for the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze practice tramp in Term 1 2017.
